Any news on the new H1N1 flu virus epidemic!
It's rampant up here in the Great White North and the casualties are already starting to mount......
we're preparing to make our move for the winter to the sunny Dominican Republic and just wondered what the word on the street is there???
We're NOT getting the TOO NEW H1N1 vaccination (yet unproven) and have ramped up our vitamin intake to boosrt our immune systems (we're so very fortunate to both be in the high risk category should we actually contract the virus).
Any thoughts or suggestions????

Not really. They find new cases every week, but no one has croaked from it recently.

Grandson #2 had it this past week but recovered with no ill effects.......just another case of the flu!
Here in the Great White North (it's still green today) the authorities are saying it's the most prevelant strain of flu this year.......

Weather here is not great.
Really don't like scraping the 'frost' off the car in the morning. 
It must be worse up where you are Mommc. I for one, am heading back to the DR in about two weeks. Of course, I can only go for a couple of weeks at a time, but I'm ready. I've been back in Canada for a month now and am really really ready to leave again. 
I hope to be in Juan Dolio for a couple of weeks at the end of November. When are you going back Mommc? If you're there, we will have to touch base.

Not 100% sure yet but should be there by the 25th of November.
We're not going to go home at Christmas this year but may take a 'sode' trtip somewhere over the holidays.......
